Chrome Remote Desktop BETA is a simple chrome app which allows you to remotely control your friend’s computer through your Google Chrome browser. A good advantage of this remote desktop app is that it doesn’t have any barriers with the type of operating system you’re using (Windows, Mac or Linux).
The only requirements are
Remotely Access another Computer over the Internet Using Chrome Browser
First, login to your Gmail account.Download & install the Chrome Remote Desktop BETA app on your Chrome browser.Once the installation is completed, hit the “continue” button to proceed.It’ll ask for your permission to grant access to your email address (Gmail). Click “Allow access”.You’ll then be given two options – “share this computer” or “access a shared computer”.Click “access shared computer” if you want to remotely access another computer, else click on “share this computer” to let your friend access your computer.In case of accessing shared computer, you’ll be asked to enter the access code generated by the other computer that you’re trying to connect (Ask your friend to send his code on chat and enter it on your computer to gain control over his computer).
If you want to share your computer with a friend, just follow the above step but in a reverse way.
That’s it! You’ll now be allowed to remotely access another computer over the internet.
NOTE: The access code is a one-time code and so you’ll have to request your friend for a new code if you wish to connect again.
